S&P raises Sensata

Standard & Poor's said it raised its ratings on Sensata Technologies BV, including the corporate credit rating, to B+ from B.

The outlook is positive.

"The rating action reflects continued improvements in Sensata's operating performance, which have resulted in better credit measures," said credit analyst Dan Picciotto.

"The upgrade also reflects the company's public statements regarding lower targeted net leverage, implying there may be further improvement in its credit measures. We believe business trends remain favorable, but are likely to moderate from the firm's recent high growth levels."
