S&P revises Senior Housing Properties view to negative

S&P said it revised its outlook on Senior Housing Properties Trust to negative from stable and affirmed the BBB- issuer credit rating.

At the same time, S&P affirmed its BBB- issue-level rating on the company's unsecured notes.

“The negative outlook reflects our view SNH's cash flows could be adversely affected by challenges facing its top tenant Five Star Senior Living Inc.,” S&P said in a news release.
