S&P affirms Senior Housing Properties

Standard & Poor's said it affirmed its BB+ corporate credit rating on Senior Housing Properties Trust. Additionally, the BB+ rating on its senior unsecured notes and the BB- ratings on the junior subordinated debt were affirmed. The outlook is stable.

S&P said the ratings are supported by the company's conservative financial profile and good liquidity, as well as the enhanced quality of the portfolio.

Credit considerations include a highly concentrated tenant base, according to S&P.
