Seminis starts roadshow Friday for $190 million 10-year notes

St. Louis, Sept. 10 - Seminis Vegetable Seeds Inc. starts the roadshow Friday for a $190 million offering of senior subordinated notes due 2013 (B3/B-), according to a syndicate source.

The deal is expected to price on Sept. 22, the source added.

Citigroup and CIBC World Markets are joint bookrunners on the Rule 144A deal. Harris Nesbitt and Rabo Securities are co-managers.

Proceeds from the 10-year non-call-five notes will be used to help fund Fox Paine's acquisition of Seminis from Savia, SA de CV

The company is an Oxnard, Calif.-based fruit and vegetable producer.
