SemGroup gets extension of loan forbearance agreement

New York, Dec. 12 - SemGroup Energy Partners LP extended the forbearance agreement under its credit facility to Dec. 18 from Dec. 11, according to an 8-K filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Friday.

In addition, the company is talking to its lenders regarding entering into a new forbearance agreement on or prior to Dec. 18.

The forbearance agreement covers certain defaults that currently exist under the facility.

Wachovia is the administrative agent on the deal.

The extension was obtained on Dec. 11.

SemGroup is a Tulsa, Okla., owner and operator of midstream energy assets.
