S&P: Semco Energy unaffected

Standard & Poor's said Monday that Semco Energy Inc.'s (BB-/stable/--) announced settlement with Atlas Pipeline Partners LP does not affect its ratings on Semco Energy.

The settlement calls for Semco Energy to make a one-time payment of $5.5 million to Atlas and is considered to have a minimal affect on the company's liquidity position and current ratings.
