Four Security funds may exchange for Rydex-distributed funds

By Toni Weeks

San Diego, March 28 - Shareholders of four Security funds may exchange their shares for shares of another fund or for shares of other funds distributed by Rydex Distributors, LLC, including the Rydex/SGI U.S. Government Money Market Fund, according to a 497 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The policy applies to the Security Equity Fund, the Security Income Fund, the Security Mid Cap Growth Fund and the Security Large Cap Value Fund.

As previously reported, the Rydex/SGI U.S. Government Money Market Fund will narrow its share classes to one, the money market class, on May 4.

The funds' investment adviser is Rockville, Md.-based Security Investors, LLC, a subsidiary of Security Global Investors.
