Seahawk Drilling reports operating loss of $5.433 million in February

Charlotte, N.C., April 1 - Seahawk Drilling, Inc. posted an operating loss of $5.433 million on revenue of $4.231 million for the period Feb. 12 to Feb. 28, according to its monthly operating report and form 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The net loss for February was $5.634 million.

The company had cash and cash equivalents of $3.30 million at Feb. 28.

Seahawk, a Houston-based offshore drilling company, filed for bankruptcy on Feb. 11. The Chapter 11 case number is 11-20089.
