Sea Containers to start roadshow Monday for $150 million 10-year notes

By Paul A. Harris

St. Louis, April 15 - An April 19-26 roadshow was announced Thursday for Sea Containers Ltd.'s $150 million offering of 10-year senior notes (B3/B), a syndicate source said.

Citigroup will run the books on the registered deal. Lazard, Fortis and Scotia Capital are co-managers.

The notes will come with five years of call protection.

Proceeds will be used to retire $80 million of the company's 12½% debentures due Dec. 1, 2004 at par and to support acquisitions under negotiation, or for other corporate purposes.

The company is a marine container lessor, passenger and freight transport operator and leisure industry investor based in Hamilton, Bermuda.
