Moody's reviews Scottish and Southern

Moody's Investors Service said it placed Scottish and Southern Energy plc's A2 issuer and senior unsecured ratings on review for downgrade.

The review was prompted by concerns that, in a relatively weak operating environment, the company's ambitious capital expenditure plan will likely hamper its ability to redress credit metrics, which are currently weakly positioned, according to the agency.
