Scotia Pacific posts $5.66 million June net loss

Portland, Ore., July 29 - Scotia Pacific Co. LLC posted a $5.66 million June net loss on $4.44 million in revenues, according to its monthly operating report filed Tuesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas.

The figures compared to a $5.13 million May net loss on $4.07 million in revenues.

Cash at June 30 was $4.39 million, down from cash of $5.05 million at the end of May.

Scotia Pacific and Pacific Lumber, a Scotia, Calif.-based producer of redwood lumber and an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of Maxxam Inc., filed for bankruptcy on Jan. 18, 2007. The Chapter 11 case number is 07-20027.
