Fitch affirms SC Johnson

Fitch Ratings said it affirmed S.C. Johnson & Son, Inc.'s issuer default rating at A-, short-term issuer default rating at F2, senior unsecured notes at A- and bank credit facility at A-.

The outlook is stable.

According to Fitch, the ratings reflect the company's strong credit profile, diverse portfolio of leading brands, geographic diversity of operations and cash flow generation.

The rating also reflects pressure on the company's margins from rising commodity costs and the intensely competitive environment, the agency said.
