New Issue: Russia's Sberbank prices $250 million tap of $1 billion 5.4% notes to yield 5¼%

Atlanta, Oct. 8 - Russia's Sberbank priced a $250 million tap of its $1 billion 5.4% loan participation notes to yield 5¼%, a market source said Friday.
Barclays, BNP Paribas and ING were the bookrunners for the Regulation S deal, which was whispered to yield in the 5¼% to 5.35% area.
The original issue priced on Sept. 17 at par to yield 5.4%.
Sberbank is a Moscow-based lender.
