S&P places Atrium European on CreditWatch negative

S&P said it placed Atrium European Real Estate Ltd. on CreditWatch negative based on Gazit-Globe Ltd.’s plans to take Atrium private.

The Gazit group has a weaker credit profile than Atrium, S&P said.

S&P affirmed the BBB- issuer-level rating and issue-level rating on Atrium’s senior unsecured notes.

“The proposed transaction would not affect Atrium's portfolio or its current strategy,” S&P said in a press release.
