Moody’s acts on Ukrainian banks

Moody’s Investors Service said it changed the outlook of six Ukrainian to stable from positive. The banks are Privatbank, Savings Bank of Ukraine, Ukreximbank, Raiffeisen Bank Aval, Pivdennyi Bank, Sberbank PJSC).

The rating action follows Moody’s upgrade of Ukraine’s sovereign debt rating to B3 stable from Caa1 positive on Friday, the agency said.

Moody’s said it upgraded the long-term local-currency senior unsecured debt ratings of Savings Bank of Ukraine.

The agency also upgraded the long-term foreign-currency senior unsecured debt ratings of Savings Bank of Ukraine and Ukreximbank.
