SAS debtors report $287.73 million net loss for October

Olympia, Wash., Dec. 1 – SAS AB and affiliated debtors reported a $287.73 million net loss for October on $393.27 million of total operating revenue, according to a monthly operating report filed Thursday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.
To compare, the companies reported a $22 million net loss for September on $377.74 million of total operating revenue.
The debtors had $528.8 million in cash and cash equivalents at the end of October, down from $554.06 million at the end of September.
SAS is Scandinavia’s leading airline, with main hubs in Copenhagen, Oslo and Stockholm. The company filed bankruptcy on July 5, 2022 under Chapter 11 case number 22-10925.
