Sanwaria Agro Oils to vote on plan to sell Rs. 1 billion in convertibles

Knoxville, Tenn., Feb. 19 - Sanwaria Agro Oils Ltd. informed the Bombay Stock Exchange that it will consider plans to issue up to Rs. 1 billion in convertibles at an extraordinary general meeting on Feb. 29.

As previously reported, the company passed a proposal to issue up to Rs. 750 million in convertibles at an annual general meeting on Sept. 29, and its board of directors approved the bonds at a meeting on Jan. 28.

Securities also may include American Depositary Receipts, Global Depositary Receipts or a private placement of equity shares.

Sanwaria Agro Oils is an Itarsi, India-based company that extracts soy beans and other minor oil seeds.
