Atmos Energy pricing $500 million 30-year senior notes Monday

Virginia Beach, Oct. 6 – Atmos Energy Corp. is expected to price $500 million of senior notes due October 2044 on Monday, according to a market source and a 424B5 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will have a make-whole call until April of 2044, with a par call afterward.

The bookrunners are BofA Merrill Lynch, Credit Agricole CIB, Wells Fargo Securities LLC, BNP Paribas Securities Corp. and RBS Securities Inc.

Proceeds will be used to repay the company’s $500 million of 4.95% senior notes at maturity on Oct. 15, 2014.

The natural gas transportation and storage company is based in Dallas.
