Moody's affirms Atmos Energy

Moody's Investors Service said it affirmed Atmos Energy Corp.'s Baa3 senior unsecured ratings.

The outlook is stable.

The affirmation reflects a benign recent conclusion of a rate case for its Mid-Tex division and acknowledges the steady recovery in the company's financial metrics, Moody's said.

A restraining factor for ratings is the uncommitted $580 million credit agreement that supports Atmos's marketing business, the agency said.
