Tupelo, Miss., Sept. 23 – Atmos Energy Corp. priced $600 million of 1.5% senior notes due Jan. 15, 2031 (A1/A) on Wednesday at a spread of Treasuries plus 87.5 basis points, according to a market source and an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Initial price talk was in the Treasuries plus 105 bps spread area.
The issue was sold at 99.565 to yield 1.546%.
BofA Securities Inc., CIBC World Markets Corp., Credit Agricole Securities (USA) Inc., BNP Paribas Securities Corp., Mizuho Securities USA Inc. and TD Securities (USA) LLC were the bookrunners.
Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, including the repayment of working capital borrowings under the company’s commercial paper program.
Atmos Energy is a natural gas storage and distribution company based in Dallas.
