Sanofi prepares to price dollar fixed-rate notes in two tranches

Tupelo, Miss., June 12 – Sanofi SA plans to price a dollar-denominated two-part offering of fixed-rate notes, according to a 424B5 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Tuesday.

Barclays and Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC are the global coordinators and joint bookrunners. Other bookrunners are Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. and MUFG.

The notes will have make-whole and par calls.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, including to repay existing debt.

Sanofi is a Paris-based pharmaceutical company.
