Fitch revises Samruk-Energy view to positive

Fitch Ratings said it revised Samruk-Energy's outlook to positive from stable while affirming its long-term issuer default ratings at BB.

“The revision of outlook reflects expected improvement of the company's stand-alone credit profile (SCP) on the back of forecast stronger credit metrics, following the approval of generation tariff increases from April 2021. Our forecasts also take into account an expected moderate increase in capex, some flexibility in dividend payments and the limited impact of Covid-19 on the company's performance in 2020,” Fitch said in a press release.
