Fitch affirms Sampath Bank

Fitch Ratings said it affirmed Sampath Bank plc's national long-term rating of AA-(lka), along with its outstanding subordinated debentures of LKR3.3 billion at A+(lka).

The outlook is stable.

The ratings reflect the bank's strong brand franchise among local licensed commercial banks and its healthy capital position, Fitch said.
