Salm-Salm taps convertibles specialist Lange as portfolio manager

Madison, Wis., Feb. 1 - Salm-Salm & Partners added convertible bond specialist Thomas Lange to its team as a senior portfolio manager on Wednesday, according to a company press release.

Lange was previously a senior portfolio manager of mutual and special funds at Allianz Global Investors/Pimco in Munich.

Lange has 19 years of investment experience. After training in banking and studying economics, he worked in investment banking at Commerzbank in Frankfurt.

Since 1999, Lange has worked as a portfolio manager at the fund companies ADIG and cominvest. In 2002, he established the company's first pure convertible bond fund. In 2009, he joined Allianz Global.

Salm-Salm is an independent, family owned financial services company that focuses on convertible bonds and investments in agriculture and forestry. The firm is based in Wallhausen, Germany.
