S&P rates Falabella notes BBB+

S&P said it assigned a BBB+ issue-level rating to SACI Falabella's (BBB+/negative/--) potential senior unsecured notes.

The company would use all the proceeds from the issuance to refinance its short-term debt. As a result, the company's debt would not increase.

The outlook remains negative, indicating that the agency could lower the ratings if it does not see signs of improving cash flow generation, with metrics of funds from operations to debt remaining below 20% and debt to EBITDA around 3.5x.
