New Issue: Credit Suisse sells $1.02 million high/low coupon autocallables on S&P, Russell

By Devika Patel

Knoxville, Tenn., Oct. 5 – Credit Suisse AG, London Branch, priced $1.02 million of high/low coupon autocallable yield notes due April 4, 2018 linked to the worst performing of the S&P 500 index and the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will pay a quarterly coupon at an annual rate of 9% if each index closes at or above its coupon barrier level, 65% of its initial level, on each day of that quarter. If either index closes below the coupon barrier level on any day of that quarter, the notes will pay a coupon at an annual rate of 1%.

The payout at maturity will be par unless either index closes below its 65% knock-in level, during the life of the notes, in which case investors will lose or gain 1% for each 1% decline or gain of the worst performing index.

The notes will be called at par if both indexes close at or above their respective initial levels on any quarterly observation date after Dec. 29, 2016.
