Moody's rates Accival Aaa.mx

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned an Aa3 long term global local-currency issuer rating and short-term Prime-1 issuer rating to Acciones y Valores Banamex, SA de CV Casa de Bolsa, or Accival.

The agency assigned Aaa.mx long-term and MX-1 short term issuer ratings on a Mexican national scale.

The outlook is stable.

Ratings reflect the broker's strong franchise in Mexico's debt and capital markets, and its leadership in brokerage services and among high net worth investors, the agency said.

Ratings also reflect Accival's ability to generate recurring pre-tax earnings from its largely diversified brokerage offering, which lead to a sustainable franchise, the agency noted.
