Access Pharmaceuticals intends to sell units through public offering

Funds used to develop products, for general working capital purposes

Knoxville, Tenn., Feb. 21 - Access Pharmaceuticals, Inc. plans to sell units of common shares and warrants in a public sale, according to a Form S-1 filed Tuesday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Proceeds will be used to develop the company's products and product candidates and for general working capital purposes.

Dallas-based Access Pharmaceuticals is a biopharmaceutical company focused on treatment and care for cancer patients.
