San Luis Obispo, Calif., May 3 - Prudential Investment Portfolios, Inc. 15 announced that Brian Clapp has been named a portfolio manager of the Prudential High Yield Fund and the Prudential Short Duration High Yield Income Fund, effective June 1, according to a 497 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Clapp was also named a portfolio manager to the AST High Yield Portfolio and Prudential Series Fund High Yield Bond Portfolio, according to a separate 497 filing with the SEC.

Clapp joined Prudential in 2006 from Muzinich & Co., where he was a portfolio manager for a high-yield bond-based hedge fund, hedge fund credit analyst and credit analyst covering the chemical, industrial and transportation sectors. Prior to that, he was a credit analyst at institutional high-yield fund manager Triton Partners.

While at Prudential, Clapp was a senior high-yield credit analyst on Prudential's Fixed Income Credit Research team and is currently a principal and high-yield portfolio manager of Prudential Fixed Income's High Yield team.

Newark, N.J.-based Prudential Investments LLC is the investment manager for the funds.
