Moody's rates Astana Finance notes Ba1

Moody's Investors Service said it gave a Ba1 long-term foreign-currency debt rating to the senior unsecured obligations to be issued under the new $2 billion global medium-term note program of Astana Finance BV. The issue is guaranteed by JSC Astana Finance and JSC Leasing Co. Astana-Finance.

The outlook is stable.

The issuer and guarantors must abide by terms such as negative pledge, limitation on payment of dividends, mergers and consolidation, sale of assets and related-party transactions, the agency said, and the notes could be called early by holders in certain events.
