Moody’s rates Assured Guaranty notes Baa2
Moody's Investors Service said it assigned a Baa2 rating to guaranteed senior notes due 2051 to be sold by Assured Guaranty US Holdings Inc.
The notes will be guaranteed on a senior unsecured basis by Assured Guaranty Ltd., rated Baa2 by Moody’s.
The company plans to use the proceeds to repurchase or redeem certain indebtedness, including subsidiary indebtedness.
The outlook is stable.
