KBRA rates Assured Guaranty notes A+

KBRA said it assigned an A+ long-term rating to the senior unsecured notes to be issued by Assured Guaranty US Holdings Inc. (AGUS). Assured Guaranty Ltd. will guarantee the notes.

The agency affirmed Assured Guaranty US Holdings’ A+ rating on Oct. 21.

Assured Guaranty US Holdings intends to use the proceeds to redeem certain outstanding indebtedness.

The outlook is stable.
