S&P rates Questar notes A-

Standard & Poor's said it assigned an A- rating to Questar Pipeline Co.'s $200 million senior unsecured notes due 2018.

Proceeds will be used to refinance debt and for capital expenditures.

An excellent business risk profile and an intermediate financial profile support Questar Pipeline's ratings, the agency said.

Access to supportive regulation, low gas-supply risk and minimal competitive pressures also support the credit profile, S&P added.
