Quest Diagnostics to price senior notes via five bookrunners

Knoxville, Tenn., Dec. 9 – Quest Diagnostics Inc. is planning to sell senior notes, according to a 424B2 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will have a make-whole call and then are callable at par.

J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC, Wells Fargo Securities LLC, Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC and Mizuho Securities USA Inc. are the bookrunners.

Proceeds will be used to repay or redeem the company’s $500 million of 4.75% senior notes due 2020 at maturity and its $300 million of 2.5% senior notes due 2020 and for general corporate purposes.

The diagnostic testing company is based in Madison, N.J.
