Moody's: Quest unchanged

Moody's Investors Service said news that Quest Diagnostics, Inc. has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Athena Diagnostics from Thermo Fisher Scientific for $740 million in cash has no immediate impact on the company's Baa2 senior unsecured rating.

The agency said it understands that the transaction is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2011.
