Quebecor World, Canada Wide Media reach $45 million printing agreement

Pittsburgh, Aug. 7 - Quebecor World Inc. said it has reached a new $45 million seven-year agreement to print magazines and periodicals for Canada Wide Media Ltd., according to a company news release.

The company said the agreement includes renewal work on Canada Wide Media's BC Business, Westworld Publications, BC Home, Alberta Home, Gardenwise and Granville Magazine titles.

"Quebecor World's dedication to quality and service was a key contributing factor in partnering with them for another seven years," Canada Wide Media chairman and chief executive officer Peter Legge said in the release.

Quebecor, a Montreal-based printing and marketing company, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on Jan. 21, 2008 and filed for protection under the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act in Canada. Its Chapter 11 case number is 08-10152.
