Bank of America buys $4.23 million in claims against Quebecor World

Pittsburgh, July 24 - Bank of America, NA bought $4.23 million of American Home Assurance Co.'s claims against Quebecor World (USA) Inc., according to Wednesday filings with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

Specifically, Bank of America bought a $3.04 million claim and a $1.19 million claim.

Quebecor, a Montreal-based printing and marketing company, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on Jan. 21, 2008 and filed for protection under the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act in Canada. Its Chapter 11 case number is 08-10152.
