Quebecor Media to buy $128.19 million 11 1/8% notes, $12.125 million 13¾% notes in tender

New York, July 19 - Quebecor Media Inc. said it accepted tenders from holders of $128.19 million of its 11 1/8% senior notes due July 15, 2011 and $12.125 million principal amount at maturity of its 13¾% senior discount notes due July 15, 2011.

The company had offered to purchase up to $125 million of the senior notes and had said it would use any shortfall below the $125 million to buy its senior discount notes.

The tender ended at 11:59 p.m. ET on July 18.

For tenders prior to 5 p.m. ET on July 1, Quebecor Media will pay $1,112.50 per $1,000 principal amount, including an early tender premium of $30.00 per $1,000 principal amount.

Holders of the senior notes who tendered after the early tender deadline will receive $1082.50 per $1,000 principal amount.

Those who tender the senior notes will also receive accrued interest up to but not including July 19.

The company will pay $1,007.50 per $1,000 principal amount at maturity for the discount notes, which also includes an early tender premium of $30.00 per $1,000 principal amount at maturity.
