S&P assigns Quanta Services BBB

S&P said it assigned a BBB rating to Quanta Services Inc.

“Our view of Quanta's business incorporates its position as a specialty infrastructure solutions provider to the utility, energy and communications industries,” S&P said in a press release.

The outlook is stable. “Our stable outlook on Quanta reflects our expectation that despite the current recession in the U.S., the company's exposure to customers' largely nondiscretionary spend – more than 65% of 2020 revenues have come from collaboration with regulated utilities – will allow the company to maintain debt to EBITDA of less than 3x,” the agency said.
