S&P shifts Qualcomm to stable

S&P said it revised the outlook on Qualcomm Inc. to stable from negative and affirmed its A- rating.

“The outlook revision reflects our expectation that Qualcomm’s operating performance will improve in fiscal 2020 and 2021 as the long-awaited 5G transition ramps up, resulting in solid cash flow generation and adjusted leverage below the 1x area, well short of our 2x downgrade trigger,” said S&P in a press release.
