Qualcomm plans offering of senior notes in two tranches

Los Angeles, May 6 – Qualcomm Inc. is planning a two-part offering of senior notes (A2/A-), according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

BofA Securities, Inc., Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC and J.P. Morgan Securities LLC are the underwriters.

Qualcomm will use proceeds to repay at maturity its $250 million of outstanding floating-rate notes due May 20, 2020 and its $1.75 billion of outstanding 2.25% notes due May 20, 2020. Any remaining proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

The San Diego-based company designs, develops, manufactures and markets wireless telecommunications products and services.
