Jana Partners reduces stake in QLT to less than 5%

Charlotte, N.C., Dec. 3 - Jana Partners LLC sold 2,119,900 shares of QLT Inc. common stock on Nov. 29 and Nov. 30 priced from $4.69 to $4.91 each, according to a schedule 13D filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The reporting persons own 3,577,269 shares, or 4.8%, of the company's outstanding stock.

On Aug. 10, Jana reported owning 7,363,191 shares, or 9.9%, of the Vancouver, B.C.-based biopharmaceutical company.
