QBE completes redemption of $399.95 million 7.5% subordinated notes

Lexington, Ky., Nov. 27 – QBE Insurance Group Ltd. completed the full redemption of all $399,954,000 of its 7.5% subordinated notes due 2043 (ISIN: US74737EAA29, US74737DAA46), according to a notice.

The Rule 144A and Regulation S notes were redeemed on Nov. 24 for their face value plus accrued interest to the early redemption date.

Bank of New York Mellon was the paying agent.

The notes were initially sold under the group’s $4 billion medium-term note program in October 2016.

The insurer is based in Sydney, Australia.
