OrbiMed Advisors cuts equity stake to 5.59% in Aspect Medical

Philadelphia, Dec. 19 - OrbiMed Advisors LLC decreased its investment to 5.59% in Aspect Medical Systems, Inc. as of Dec. 10, according to an SC 13G/A filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The holdings represent a passive stake of 968,780 shares.

Those holdings are down from the passive stake of 10.86%, or 1,846,000 shares, that the company first reported owning Nov. 7, 2007.

Aspect is a Norwood, Mass.-based developer of brain monitoring technology.
