Fitch rates Asia Plus Securities A-(tha)

Fitch Ratings said it assigned national long- and short-term ratings to Asia Plus Securities plc's at A-(tha) and F2(tha).

The outlook is stable.

The ratings reflect the company's extensive domestic retail brokerage franchise, its strong investment banking track record and its solid capital and liquidity positions, the agency said.

The ratings also take into account its weakening operating performance due to poor stock market conditions, Fitch added.
