New Issue: Taiwan’s Asia Cement prices NT$7.7 billion 0.66% five-year bonds

Los Angeles, April 9 – Asia Cement Corp. priced NT$7.7 billion of five-year bonds at par to yield 0.66%, according to a Taiwan Stock Exchange announcement.

Yuanta Securities Co., Ltd. is the underwriter.

In March the company said its board of directors approved the issuance of up to NT$20 billion of corporate bonds with maturities of up to 10 years. This is the company’s first tranche for 2020.

The Taipei, Taiwan-based cement producer will use proceeds from the public offering to repay loans, fulfill mid- to long-term operating capital and strengthen its financial structure.
