Plastech official unsecured creditors committee appointed

Pittsburgh, Feb. 8 - Plastech Engineered Products, Inc.'s U.S. Trustee appointed the official committee of unsecured creditors for the company's Chapter 11 bankruptcy case, according to a Friday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.

The committee members include Niraj R. Ganatra of the International Union, UAW, Detroit; Robert Claeys of Tool & Plas Systems, Inc., Ontario; Lawrence Crawford of DBM Technologies, Detroit; Frank DeAngelis of BASF Corp., Florham Park, N.J.; Morgan Benezra of KS Automotive, Inc., San Leandro, Calif.; and Barry Klinckhardt of Siegel-Robert, Inc., Fenton, Mo.

Plastech, a Dearborn, Mich.-based auto parts supplier, filed for bankruptcy on Feb. 1. Its Chapter 11 case number is 08-42417.
