Pillowtex's former assets go up for sale

Washington, March 2 - Pillowtex Corp.'s former assets now owned by GGST LLC are up for sale. GGST acquired the textile company's assets for $121 million.

GGST plans to sell the textile machinery to other textile firms. GGST is a joint venture of Gibbs International, SB Capital Group, Gordon Brothers Retail Partners, Tiger Capital Group and Crescent Financial LLC.

Auctions are scheduled to be held form March through July.

March 6 - Auction of art and other collectibles from former Pillowtex corporate office in Kannapolis, N.C.

March 10-11 - Sale of computer and IT equipment from Kannapolis, N.C. headquarters.

March 18 - Auction of manufacturing and warehouse facility and equipment in Toronto.

April 1 - Auction of manufacturing and warehouse facility and equipment in Chicago.

April 8 - Auction of vehicles and material-handling and shop equipment from Kannapolis facility.

April 22 - Auction of feather processing plant and equipment in Dallas.

April 29 - Auction of manufacturing plant and equipment in Concord, N.C.

May 6 - Auction of manufacturing plant and equipment in Phenix City, Ala.

May 13 - Auction of manufacturing and warehouse equipment facility in Eden, N.C.

May 27 - Auction of manufacturing and warehouse facility and equipment in Hanover, Pa.

June 1 - Auction of miscellaneous items at Kannapolis facility.

June 10 - Auction of manufacturing and warehouse facility and equipment in Tunica, Miss.

June 24-25 - Auction of manufacturing and warehouse facility and equipment in Fieldale, Va.

July 8 - Auction of warehouse and distribution center in Mauldin, S.C. and manufacturing facility and equipment in Union, S.C.
