PG&E reports operating income improved to $108 million in February

Pittsburgh, April 2 – PG&E Corp. reported $108 million of operating income for February on $1.29 billion in operating revenue, according to its monthly operating report filed Monday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
In comparison, PG&E posted $19 million in operating income for January on $1.47 billion in total operating revenue.
Net income for February was $21 million, compared with a $21 million January net loss.
The company had $2.3 billion in cash and cash equivalents as of Feb. 28, up from $1.16 billion at the end of January.
The electric and natural-gas utility is based in San Francisco. The company filed bankruptcy on Jan. 29 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of California under Chapter 11 case number 19-30088.
