Ascend Acquisition concludes $2 million private placement of its stock

Deal sells 4 million common shares at $0.50 per share, a 150% premium

Knoxville, Tenn., July 5 - Ascend Acquisition Corp. completed a $2 million private placement of stock on July 1, according to an 8-K filed Friday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The company sold 4 million common shares at $0.50 apiece. The price per share is a 150% premium to the June 28 closing share price, $0.20.

The Wayne, Pa., company creates and distributes game applications on smartphone and other mobile platforms.
